Seeking Research Associate (Postdoctoral)

The Puglielli laboratory is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in high-end microscopy, structural biology, and general biochemistry to study morphological changes of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and secretory pathway in cellular and mouse models of dysfunctional ER acetylation. This research is focused on the molecular mechanisms of different neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases. The laboratory is located at the Waisman Center of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has access to cutting-edge research facilities. Madison offers an outstanding living environment with cultural opportunities, excellent public schools, and many facilities for indoor and outdoor activities. Our research uses multidisciplinary approaches on in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models.
